On January 12th, the Professional Photographers of America bestowed on Rodney their highest Photographic Degree. Rodney was presented with the "Master of Photography" Degree from the Professional Photographers of America.

At the October Meeting of the Professional Photographers' Association of Pennsylvania Rodney did very well in the Print & Folio Competition. Rodney received 3 Blue Ribbons, 2 First Place Awards and a Third Place Award. The 2 First Place Awards were on his Wedding Photography and the Third Place Award was for a High School Senior Folio.

At the April Convention of the Professional Photographers' Association of Pennsylvania Rodney did very well in the Annual Print Competition. Rodney received 4 Blue Ribbons, 1 Judge's Choice Award, the Best Commercial Print Trophy and the 320 Club of Excellance Award. One of his prints title: Tied up for the Night received a score of 90 out of a possible 100!
